A redesigned application to amend the Oakmont Area Structure Plan (ASP) and Land Use Bylaw from Direct Control to Direct Control Mixed Use (DCMU) will be submitted to the City of St. Albert by Boudreau Communities Ltd. in the near future. This amendment will allow for a master-planned, mixed-use community. The intent is to create a “Live, Work, Play” environment; a walkable, healthy living development with a publicly accessible village square, and a network of trails and paths on this four-hectare riverfront site.
A live presentation intended to gather your feedback on the proposed application prior to being formally submitted to the City of St. Albert will be hosted on Zoom Meeting as per the details above. Project representatives, Landowner and Consultants will be in attendance to answer questions about the plan and proposed land use bylaw amendment and representatives from City Administration will address questions regarding the City’s processes. The presentation will be available for viewing and public comment. There will be an ability to ask questions at the live event. After the event, a link to the presentation will be posted on the City of St. Albert website for public viewing.
